New Feature in Upay: "Stop Tools"

In compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank of Armenia and to ensure the financial security of our customers, a new feature has been added to the Upay app: "Stop Tools". This tool allows you to independently and instantly restrict certain transactions, protecting yourself from potential financial fraud.

What services can you block?

• Transfers

• Payments

• Account top-ups

• Online loan applications

• Adding or opening a new card/account

How does the system work?

• Instant blocking: With just one tap from the app's main page or the "Settings" section, you can block any of the mentioned services.

• Online unblocking: Due to strict security rules, an online unblocking request can only be submitted 24 hours after activating the block.

• Urgent unblocking: If you need to remove the restriction immediately, simply visit any Upay branch with an identity document. Our employees will unblock it on the spot in a matter of seconds.

Important to know: The block applies only to the specified actions. Your account balance and other data will remain accessible and visible.
